One Earth Future – Research Logo

The answer to whether or not the world can ever achieve peace is not clear cut. There are many theories and the debate continues amongst scholars as to which factors lead to conflict and war the most. One Earth Future‘s Research department has been dedicated to understanding and analyzing the intricacies of these schools of thought and they needed a logo that represented the complexity of this important work.

At first glance, the logo appears to be a somewhat random collection of 2 dimensional triangles. Upon closer inspection, the group of triangles make up a 3 dimensional cube, with changing compartments depending on how you look at it – a reflection of the far-from-straight-forward nature of the notion of peace and how we might achieve it.

Modern color palette and fonts reflect the program’s commitment to an evidence-based approach, while tying it to it parent organization’s (One Earth Future) existing brand.
